Phoenix summers are legendary, and not always in a good way. When temperatures soar well into the triple digits, sending the kids outside to play isn't just uncomfortable—it's unsafe. But keeping them indoors shouldn't mean weeks of endless screen time and the dreaded "summer slide."
Parents across the Valley are searching for indoor summer camps that keep children safe, active, and socially connected. If you want a fully air-conditioned, structured environment where your kids can burn energy and stay engaged, choosing a premier indoor sports camp is the best summer solution for your family.
When searching for youth activities in the Greater Phoenix area, the quality of the indoor facility is paramount. Outdoor sports are fantastic during our mild winters, but summers require an environment where kids can expend maximum physical energy without the risks of extreme heat or dehydration.
Premium indoor sports camps offer:
The diverse activities at Arizona Sunrays ensure kids stay excited and engaged, making every day a new adventure they look forward to.
Throughout the week, campers can participate in activities such as gymnastics & tumbling, Ninja Zone obstacle courses, arts and crafts, dance, and STEM projects, ensuring a variety of engaging options.
Whether they are stepping onto a gymnastics mat for the first time or tackling a Ninja obstacle, every day is packed with movement and adventure.
As parents, you want peace of mind. Camp Sunrays prioritizes safety with background checks, safety training, and USA Gymnastics certifications, ensuring your child's protection.
We know busy schedules matter. Our flexible options-half-day, full-day, extended care-along with four Valley locations, Phoenix, Arcadia, Surprise, and Carefree make the perfect summer planning easier and more convenient for you.
Don't let the Arizona heat keep your kids on the couch this summer. Give them a season filled with fitness, flight, and friendship!
How old must my child be to participate in Camp Sunrays? We welcome campers ages 4 to 11. All campers must be fully potty trained and able to use the restroom independently. For older kids (ages 11-15), we also offer an excellent Leaders in Training (LIT) program.
What are the hours of a typical camp day? A standard full day of camp runs from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We also offer Half Day options (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM) at select locations. Need more coverage? Extended care is available from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at select locations.
What should my camper wear and bring? For the optimal experience, we suggest comfortable athletic clothing (like a leotard or shorts and a T-shirt) and easy on-and-off shoes. Please pack a refillable water bottle, a cold-packed lunch, and two snacks.
Can I book by the week or day? Yes! We offer flexible registration with both daily and weekly rates so you can easily plan around family vacations and changing summer dynamics. However, spots fill up fast, so advanced registration is highly recommended.
