Leaders in Training

The LIT program is designed for older kids who are ready to transition from being campers to being role models. LITs have the opportunity to assist camp coaches, help lead younger children, and develop leadership skills that build real-world confidence. The goals of the LIT program are growth, responsibility, and mentorship.

11-15 years

LITs will participate in group activities focused on developing leadership skills and traits within themselves. They will get to bring those leadership skills to life while working with younger kiddos at Camp Sunrays. And don’t worry, LITs will have plenty of time to play around in the gym as well!

We suggest comfortable, athletic clothing that is easy to move around in. Please bring a possible change of clothes for water activities. Please apply sunscreen prior to arriving each day. Bring a refillable water bottle, a cold packed lunch, and two snacks.

Enter the facility through the main doors. A staff member will help you sign in/out upon arrival and departure. All adults will be asked for an ID to verify they are authorized for pick up. If your camper is not registered for Extended Care and is not picked up by 3:05PM, they will be automatically enrolled in Extended Care and charged $25 per day.Summer Camp Only:Camper valet is available for drop off (7:45-8:05AM) and pick up (2:45-3:05PM). From the parking lot, follow signage heading West on Tierra Buena Lane toward South side entrance doors. Pull forward to the drop off/pick up sign, and stay in your vehicle. A staff member will be there to assist with check in and help your camper into the building. Pick up will take place in the same manner and same  location. A staff member will be there to assist with check out and help your camper into the vehicle. All adults will be asked for an ID to verify they are authorized for pick up. If your camper is not registered for Extended Care and is not picked up by 3:05PM, they will be automatically enrolled in Extended Care and charged $25 per day.

Extended Care pick up:
Enter the facility through the main doors and head to our front desk. An office member will help you sign out and your camper will be brought to you. All adults will be asked for an ID to verify they are authorized for pick up.

Registrations can be adjusted up to 72 hours prior to your enrollment. If a future date is not available a full credit can be applied to the family account. This credit can be utilized for classes or other special events.
*Makeups are unavailable for missed days.
‍*If a refund is determined to be necessary, a $10 per day administrative fee will be assessed.

There is only the full week option. The LIT program is a more structured and involved commitment!
